The Challenge

Electrical troubleshooting is a hands-on reasoning process: what to ask, where to test, what a reading means, and what it rules out. The challenge was translating that complicated physical process into an interactive experience that preserves the reasoning instead of reducing it to multiple-choice trivia.

The Approach

Structure the experience as service-call scenarios that move through intake questions, test selection, meter placement, reading interpretation, and diagnosis — so each decision has consequences and the learner has to think like a technician. Scenario structure, interaction flow, and visual direction were designed first, then built through AI-assisted prototyping and development.

The Outcome

A working simulator that presents electrical troubleshooting as a reasoning exercise, with a scenario framework that additional fault types and service calls can plug into without redesign.
